Privacy Policy for Scribblify (Windows 8 Edition)

Scribblify for Windows 8.1 requests two privacy-related capabilities, as defined below.

Use of Internet Connection

Scribblify for Windows 8 does not require an Internet connection to operate. If an Internet connection is available, the Scribblify application (including current and/or future versions) may use the connection to periodically transmit anonymous usage patterns in order to improve subsequent versions. Currently (as of version 1.1.0.x) this application does not:

Collect or use any personal information
Transmit any personal data over the Internet
Share any information with any third party

Use of Pictures Library

The integrated gallery of Scribblify for Windows 8 depends on being granted access to a subfolder within the current user's root Pictures directory.

When the user saves his or her artwork within Scribblify, the image will be saved to the 'Scribblify' folder within the user's Pictures Library.

All artwork within the 'Scribblify' folder will be displayed in the Gallery view of the application, but no other pictures or directories on the user's device will be accessed by the application.
